Dollarsoft is a small software studio for a world that's still figuring itself out.

We make micro apps. Focused tools that do one thing well. They're real, functional software. You buy them once and use them forever. No recurring fees. No tiers. No long-term commitments.

Honestly? Because it's never been easier to make software.

AI has compressed the distance between idea and product. Things that used to take months now take days. Sometimes hours. We don't know exactly where that leads, but we do know one thing: it makes shipping really fun.

Dollarsoft exists because we like building things and putting them out into the world quickly. Some ideas are practical. Some are playful. Some are oddly specific. If it feels useful we ship it.

We don't have a grand thesis.

We're not anti-subscription. We just don't think everything needs one.

For small software (micro apps, utilities, generators, inspectors, etc) a subscription often feels like overhead. Dollarsoft apps are meant to be small but complete products. You pay once, you get access, and the app does what it says it does.

Dollarsoft is also a playground.

It's where we get to move fast and stay curious. Over the past 15 years we've worked on everything from popular consumer apps to highly sophisticated mapping systems. Dollarsoft is where we keep things small on purpose.

No roadmap. Just an excuse to keep shipping in this era of change.
